The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box. “There are 5 things you need to know,” he told the pencil, “Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be.

” One: “You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone’s hand.”

Two: “You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you’ll need it to become a better pencil.”

Three: “You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.”

Four: “The most important part of you will always be what's inside.”

And Five: “On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.”

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.

Video Stuff - DIY Can Organizer

My mum was looking for a practical rack to design for her kitchen so I searched the net and I found a lot of pictures for storage ideas. The one my mum loved was the one below because it looks so neat.

I also stumbled upon this awesome pantry idea that works which is a can storage bin / can rotating rack / can organizer. You can purchase them here at CanOrganizer which is made out of cardboard and you are required to assemble them yourself since they come in flat packs. On the other hand, if you find them quite expensive you can make it yourself. The great idea of DIY is that you can customize it according to your own shelf and the cans that you buy. Below is an example of the pantry that uses the DIY can organizer; the origin of the DIY idea, The Pantry Panel. The best thing about this is that its based on the "first in first out" (FIFO) basis. So you will never have to worry about cans that are bought earlier but stocked at the back of the shelf making it hard to reach and before you know it, the food is expired.

 

The original idea came from the grandpa of the blogger The Pantry Panel but since there were some problems for them to post the idea on blogspot, the girls from Food Storage Made Easy was kind enough to post them on their website. Our Bday Party

Last Tuesday, me and my room mate, Fatin, celebrated our birthday with all our friends. The 9th was actually my Bday but since we were quite free that day and the fact that there never was going to be a class replacement at the end of Wednesday, we made plans to do it on the 9th.

We had our dinner early at 5pm at Pizza Hut SACC Mall. The cake was bought courtesy of Hussaini. It was a black forest but we had another fruit cake in mind. Well, atleast the strawberries looked luscious enough to eat. Yum yum.. :)







I wanna take this chance to wish my dearest sister, Azzah (9 Feb) and my roommate-cum-"sister", Fatin (10 Feb) a belated Happy Birthday. May all your wishes come true and that you'll become a true muslimah...

Making the best out of your life

We all live completely different lives. Some are rich, others while many struggle trying to make ends meet. Nevertheless, no matter how rich or poor you are its how the way you percieve things that matters the most.






In other words a positive mind and a positive attitude makes alot of difference. Like how the saying goes "when life throw you lemons, make lemonade" taught us to.






Bottom line - try to picture and vocalise things that you do want it to happen because self-repeating it in your heart will attract it.
