Video Stuff - The Art of Illusion

I always wondered how people in Hollywood made their movies so realistic that sometimes its impossible they shoot all their stories in the stage such as Titanic and so on. Whereas in Malaysia, we're more focused on love stories that's not that difficult to make, plus we don't have sets like in the States. Now I know how they made it. I've been fooled all this time. They even make every snowflake just to make it look real. Watch and learn.

Video Stuff - DIY Can Organizer

My mum was looking for a practical rack to design for her kitchen so I searched the net and I found a lot of pictures for storage ideas. The one my mum loved was the one below because it looks so neat.

I also stumbled upon this awesome pantry idea that works which is a can storage bin / can rotating rack / can organizer. You can purchase them here at CanOrganizer which is made out of cardboard and you are required to assemble them yourself since they come in flat packs. On the other hand, if you find them quite expensive you can make it yourself. The great idea of DIY is that you can customize it according to your own shelf and the cans that you buy. Below is an example of the pantry that uses the DIY can organizer; the origin of the DIY idea, The Pantry Panel. The best thing about this is that its based on the "first in first out" (FIFO) basis. So you will never have to worry about cans that are bought earlier but stocked at the back of the shelf making it hard to reach and before you know it, the food is expired.

The original idea came from the grandpa of the blogger The Pantry Panel but since there were some problems for them to post the idea on blogspot, the girls from Food Storage Made Easy was kind enough to post them on their website. You can get the so-called blueprint of the idea here and get the detailed instruction and step-by-step pictures here. So how does the outcome looks like? Enjoy the video below.

Video Stuff - Angry Birds Live

T-Mobile decided to promote its phones by teaming up with the ultra-popular Angry Birds game. The promotion was done by setting up a real life game of it where it starts on a phone would be translated to a giant-sized version of the game.

Below is the behind the scenes video of how they came up with the idea and how the made it possible. Really cool! They even hired a 12-piece brass band orchestra to play the remix of the Angry Birds music while the crowds enjoy the life-sized game. Not for getting the sound effects the Angry Birds make and also the grunts of pigs. Genius! Enjoy!
